"Dolly and Me"
Really wishing that the dedication that I have shown to this quilt in the last few days hung around for a while.
I love how this quilt has the 3D elements.
Block one you have seen before.
The New Block 2.
I had a remake thanks to incorrect sashing being sent with the final block :(
I actually like this one better as Lily picked the Bikini and Dress fabrics :o)
Blocks 3a and 3b
Block 4 and the 2 bunny rabbits to go in the Pram
Block 5. Just need to make his little girl teddy for his arms.
Block 6 (and my favourite).
If you lift the yellow blanket there is a heart that says "Love you" and a bumble bee.
Block 7 - Raggedy Anne
Center Block
and finally as they will be all layed out.
Each block has sashing in between and then a couple of borders.
Now, any volunteers to sit and hand stitch the blanket stitch on all the blocks (but the first) for me?
It's now made it to my little table in the lounge to become one of the projects that I work on in front of the T.V. at night.
There are now 3 of my current 12 projects on my WIP/UFO list that need a lot of "hand work" done on them. I should go and get another item off that WIP/UFO List out as I tend to only hand stitch at night.
Until next time.
Hugs Sharon
