Swooning Sneak Peak

Have you missed my Swoon Quilt?

I have!
Here is a sneak peak of it as at the weekend ...

The quilting on this one is a little different and
I am not able to pull this one off all by myself so I have in listed the help of
Linda at Lady Bug Quilting here in Bendigo :o)
A huge thank you to Linda for the photos,
you are doing an amazing job :o)

This is only the second quilt that I have sent out for quilting.
Linda also worked on Miss Lily's quilt for her "big girls bed"
Which can be seen HERE right at the bottom.

I am so pleased with how this is turning out and am looking forward to having it on my bed.
Only problem is that I am a "cushion/pillow girl" and I have just a few on my bed (by just a few I mean 10 decorator cushions/pillows!) so now need to think about how I am going to "accessorise" this quilt!

Enjoy your day,
hugs, Sharon

  1. It's beautiful Sharon! I just wanted to tell you that I love reading your blog. You get so much completed in a short amount of time, you inspire me to keep going.

  2. Lovely.. and a fun backing too... you will love having it home and it was fun to go back and look at all the quilts you have done....

  3. Can't wait to see it finished and on the bed and what you come up with in the way of cushions

  4. Your quilts looking gorgeous, you will have to show us the big reveal once on your bed with all the cushions!

  5. lol,and then starts the next chapter,youe quilt looks sensational Sharon,well done.xx

  6. Oh.. pillows/cushions help MAKE a quilt "finished"!!
This quilt will make visitors swoon I'm sure! Well done!

  7. That sounds like a fun thing to figure out.. :o) I LOVE your Swoon, it's gorgeous, and can't wait to see it all spread out and finished. LOVE the backing fabric, too. xo

  8. Congrats on a wonderful finish :) it looks amazing !!! Only 10 cushions?

  9. Lol! You could make a couple of European pillows, each with one swoon block?!! ... This quilt is looking gorgeous ... And I am loving the simple, all-over quilting design you have decided to use in this quilt ... Leaving the swoon blocks to be the central feature! Loving it!! Can't wait to see it all in its finished glory!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment as I know your time is valuable. hugs xx
