A Friday Finish

I did it ........ a FINISH of my

Scandinavian Christmas Quilt

I sat down this afternoon whilst Miss Lily was having her afternoon nap and finished sewing on the binding for my Scandinavian Christmas Quilt / Wall Hanging ...... also broke another button so will have to replace two next week but it's still a Finish :o)

and look, my Bird of Paradise plant has begun to flower

This is the first of about 15 flower spikes on this plant.

They take forever to flower but I do believe the wait is worth it.
