Sweet Prairie Pouch from "Quilting on the go ... English Paper Piecing"

This sweet zipper pouch is one of the projects in my new book,
"Quilting on the go ... English Paper Piecing".

Sedef from Down Grapevine Lane sent me some of her upcoming range 'Sweet Prairie" to play with and instantly I knew a project from my book that I want to remake as part of the Book Tour.

Such sweet small scale florals. I have teamed it with some gold fleck Cork Fabric and a gold dot background.  I personally love how it has turned out.

The original in the book is made from Tilda fabrics and it is teamed with a Rose Gold Leather.

I have also remade another project using this range but I will save that for another day :)

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget, if you leave a comment on one or all of my Book Tour posts through to 15th August you go into the draw to win a signed copy of my new book.

Happy Stitching,

Sharon x

  1. That is one beautiful bag: I love your fussy cutting, and the way you placed the pointed rays on top of the curved rays: brilliant!! Hugs, H

  2. Such pretty little bags. I've got zippered bags on my TO DO list but somehow lots of other stuff keeps dropping into line ahead of them. One day. Hope I can do as good a job as you did - they are just lovely.

  3. My first ever attempt at EPP was a dresden, this is a fun pouch. x

  4. What gorgeous little bags!!! I must have one.

  5. These are sooo sweet! Love both versions very much! Can^t wait to make one too!

  6. What lovely bags! The sweet small scale floral pieces are perfect!

  7. Love the pouches. I have yet to try the Dresden EPP technique. This is inspirational

  8. I love the colors that she used on this bag
