or should that read ..... Inspired by Colour?
Yesterday I turned this
into this
Then stacked them (in colours ranges) from light to dark and then re-stacked in the "orders" below
Best done when your 4 year old is occupied!
Until I had this. I may or may not have changed the clips to match the fabrics,
OK, yes I have since changed the clips to match the fabrics ..... :)
Which has left me with all these.
Way to pretty to throw out. Does anyone want them? They are free to a good home :o)
I've been told they can be used for a crochet rug (I don't crochet) or a scarf if you sandwich them between some wash away "stuff", stitch tightly and wash or they could be felted (?) into an artwork?
If you can use them let me know and I will send them your way.
(Australian residents only please)
and of course, yesterday's Happy Mail.

ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, gorgeous colours. I would love to take the scraps if you haven't already promised them to someone else. I will be at Mill Rosies tomorrow so if I am the lucky recipient you could bring them there maybe? Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow (I still have some I Spy blocks for you too) x

ReplyDeleteWish I lived in Australia, I would love those strings.
ReplyDeletedid not know that fabric could make my mouth water but yours certainly has, lovely collections and good to see you have your fabrics all cut out and ready to sew. The plains are also eye catching.
ReplyDeleteI would love the left over bits too Sharon - maybe I could draw straws with Tania?? Or maybe quilting needles at dawn?? What do you think? Love all your fabrics and your room....am a gentle shade of green here. See you tomorrow.

Aside from all the colour stuff that is amazing and beautiful and inspiring etc, etc, etc, I don't give a toss about how YOU feel about school holidays - I am happy to rejoice totally in the glorious fact that for the next 2 weeks I do not have to deal with anyone else's child (just my own) and after the week I've had, I deserve a break. That feels better, lol. I know you love school holidays and pj days and mess and the fridge being raided!
ReplyDeleteI think I love you... that sewing room is spectacular! I can't wait to see the bali wedding ring. You're amazing!
