Swooning to the finish line

and over I go!

Yep, it feels like it has taken me forever
but at last I am calling my
Swoon Quilt
finished.

It is now safely on my bed and everyone has been warned,
all that white and all,
as I don't want to be washing it too often.

Swoon  by Camille Roskelley

One thing holding me up on finishing this one was the binding.
In the end I went with the same fabric as the backing.

It is so rewarding to take a pile of fabric from this

to this.

Now to add some cushions to my "to-do" list.

  15. *swoon*, Sharon, it's GORgeous!!! Just beautiful! You've just reminded me that I am still procrastinating with binding my Swoon. :/ I should probably get on that, as it might take me ten years to do it once I start. I had also planned on using the same fabric as the backing. The quilting on yours is just amazing, too! Wow. :) Great accomplishment! xo
