Vignette Mystery Quilt

Issue 5 of Vignette is out and I went out yesterday and grabbed my copy.
I have been looking forward to this issue as it was going to be the first glimpse of the centre of this quilt.

It isn't what I expected but I love it just the same.
I am pleased that there is something different and thus allowing a break from all the embroidery but Arghhhh it is all Needle turn applique ...... what is it with me and needle turn applique at the moment?  lol

I guess that between the three projects that I am now working on that all have needle turn (Vignette Mystery Quilt, Some Kind of Wonderful Quilt and In My Garden) I will be getting a lot of practise.

So last night I started to do the prep work for blocks 6,7, 10 and 11

The magazine has gone to work with hubby today as the applique patterns needs to be enlarged 200%
so that also means no piecing it together just yet as he as the pattern :o)

I am looking forward to see how it all comes together.

Enjoy your sewing,
