Vignette Mystery Quilt - Centre Blocks

Note:-  Please do note that this Post has pictures of my Centre Blocks
so please do not read / look any further if you do not want to see the centre design.

Here is my progress so far on the centre blocks for the
Vignette Mystery Quilt

I got my magazine back at the very start of the month and then had to send it to work with Hubby to get the pattern pages enlarged 200% before I could get started. So here we go ....

There is a lot of Needle Turn Applique on these centre blocks.
See all these pieces, I have another bag with the same amount in them for the other two centre blocks.

I decided to start with the hearts

And then move to some flowers.

These center blocks are providing a break from all the hand stitching that the border blocks have in them.
When this centre panel is finished I plan to go back and stitch blocks 5 and 9.

Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs, Sharon

  1. I stop by here every day just to see what amazing things you have stitched. I can't believe how fast you are....it's astounding! I don't have issue 5 as yet but am delighted to get a sneak peek at the middle. I've seen a few comments that weren't flattering and I was worried about how it would look. So far, I really like it!
Thank you for being an inspiration.

    Cheers,
    Annette

  4. I have been dying to see the centre blocks! They look great!
I haven't gotten this issue yet - I haven't made anything from the previous issues and I am trying to decide weather to keep collecting them....they are quite expensive if I'm not making anything out of them...I wonder if I could make a smaller quilt with just the centre blocks!
