Weekend Stitching Progress

I managed to get a couple of things done over the weekend in between swollen eyes and sneezing from Hay fever, fun at the park with the kids and visitors yesterday.

First up was Block 7 for Lily's Once Upon a Time Quilt. Three Little Pigs is the focus for this one.

I also finished off the last two blocks for the Xmas Banner.  The last lot of instructions for this one come out on Friday so hopefully I will have it ready to go by the time I put up the Xmas trees....... yes multiple trees in this house and they normally go up 6 weeks before Christmas which means 1 week to go!!!!!   :o)

and a group shot of all 7.

Vignette Mystery Quilt

Progress is a little slow on this one but I am slowly getting there.
The flowers are almost done then to the stems.

Block 4

This quilt is proving to be a HUGE commitment. I have never worked on something with so much stitchery before.  I am however looking forward to the next Vignette Magazine as blocks 6 & 7 will be revealed and I am very interested to get a glimpse of what the inner blocks of this mystery quilt will be .... hopefully not to much hand stitching. Some piecing would be good and there is still a LOT of fabric sitting in my tub that we have not cut yet so the mind is clicking over :o)

I'm off now to play "Tea Parties" with this little one.  Apparently we have to make an Apple Pie :o)

Fun at the park on Saturday.
She has a Lady Bug on her leaf.

Enjoy your sewing,
Sharon
