Vignette Block One and a WIN!!

Progress on my Vignette Mystery Quilt .........

Block One is completed

This border is so lovely and bright.
I might have got Block one done quickly but the next one,
Block 2/3 is going to take a bit longer as it is 36" long so that's a LOT of stitching :o)

and a WIN

A couple of weeks ago I entered a draw for some Fat Quarters, never expecting to win because I never do, well until now!   Look what arrived in the post today from Kate over at Stitched with Love

14 Beautiful Fat Quarters. They now await my attention to become something special.  A huge thank you to Kate for your generosity and congratulations on the safe relocation of you and your family from Tasmania to NSW.

Also arriving in the Post today was this .....

I have been wanting this book for a bit now and found it in eBay for a great price so couldn't miss the chance to grab it.  It is my reading material tonight once the kids are in bed.
Last week when I was out at my local Patchwork shop I picked up these Dreslin Templates and also arriving in todays mail were my two Hometown Charm Packs ... yay ... this fabric is my newest fav!  I have plans for it to become a table runner, just not sure at the moment if it will be for the dining table or for on the TV unit ... stay tuned
I hope to have some progress to share on those Santa Toy bags in the next few days.

Happy Stitching,
Sharon

  4. Beautiful Vignette block Sharon. I'm still working on 2/3 and yes... there is a whole lot of stitching... but it's worth it.
Love all your new goodies... lucky you winning a prize! Hometown is one of my new favourites too. Wonder what you're going to do with yours....
