Simply Blessed

This block has taken a while to finish but at last some progress on my
Simply Blessed BOM
pattern by Rosalie Quinlan

I finished stitching my third block whilst waiting for an appointment yesterday and then today
I have been working on the needle turn.  I now have three blocks done and one to go and with a few more appointments scheduled the next block will be in my bag and become my travelling project for a while :o)

Happy Mail
I have had these lovelies arrive this week.
Can you believe that they are "practice pannels" from a lovely IG friend Bea .
She does some amazing Free Motion Quilting and some mind blowing projects. All very inspiring.
The lovely Bea has posted these to me all the way from Canada.
I do have plans for them :o)

For the moment though they are hanging here whilst I plan their fate :o)

Hope you find time to do something you love.
Hugs Sharon

"Simply Blessed"

Simply Blessed BOM
by Rosalie Quinlan

I have been admiring this new BOM by Rosalie Quinlan.
Something about the colors above spoke to me but was not totally sold on it.
Then I saw Cheryl's post and that there was another fabric option available.
(The pattern comes with the pre printed Linen)

SOLD ..... I have decided to pick out 4 of the 9 blocks and make a smaller wall hanging.
I also auditioned a few different Cottage Garden Threads but went with no. 418
and was planning to use this new Tilda range that my LQS has in stock.
So pretty.

But I ran out of thread one night so I took my panel with me when I went to purchase more and came home with these.  whoops! looks like you were right Larissa.
I couldn't go into my LQS and only walk out with thread.

and now I have this.

Time to start the Needle turn.

Anyone else stitching this one?  I'd love to see your version and fabric selections.
OK, had better get stitching :o)

Hugs Sharon
