"Simply Blessed"

Simply Blessed BOM
by Rosalie Quinlan

I have been admiring this new BOM by Rosalie Quinlan.
Something about the colors above spoke to me but was not totally sold on it.
Then I saw Cheryl's post and that there was another fabric option available.
(The pattern comes with the pre printed Linen)

SOLD ..... I have decided to pick out 4 of the 9 blocks and make a smaller wall hanging.
I also auditioned a few different Cottage Garden Threads but went with no. 418
and was planning to use this new Tilda range that my LQS has in stock.
So pretty.

But I ran out of thread one night so I took my panel with me when I went to purchase more and came home with these.  whoops! looks like you were right Larissa.
I couldn't go into my LQS and only walk out with thread.

and now I have this.

Time to start the Needle turn.

Anyone else stitching this one?  I'd love to see your version and fabric selections.
OK, had better get stitching :o)

Hugs Sharon

  5. I love the colours/fabrics you've chosen. Great idea to make it wallhanging size - there's always so much stitching to do in Rosalie's beautiful designs.

  8. Tempted. Very tempted. I'm starting to consider life after Scandinavian Rose (LOL) and this one is looking VERY tempting. I'd just buy the patterns I think, and probably make them up as cushions for Christmas gifts. I'd probably go with totally different colours than what I've seen it done in so far. Hmmmm....very tempted ;)

  13. Oh its lovely! I chose Tilda's corner shop fabric for mine. I was tempted with blue's but didn't know the right ones and didn't have pattern etc to take into my LQS, so I ordered some discounted Tilda instead. I love the subtle hues of this one. I do need to buy the all important thread though........Yours looks wonderful.
