"Smitten"
I fell in love with this pattern as soon as I saw it.
The instructions are for hand piecing but it can also be Machine pieced but I am
English Paper Piecing (Templates are in the pattern)
I am planning on using my Bonnie and Camille Scraps and stash for this one.
My first block was fun playing with stripes.
I think this next block is my favourite so far :o)
And a progress shot so far.
another awesome project on the way...

ReplyDeletelook at the colorful shelving of fabric you have - so pretty - love the quilt hexies too
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous - you have hashtagged it on IG yet? There is a smitten quilt a long by sewluxe and Lucy is really chuffed about it all. I'm thinking of getting the templates for mine. I'm a shocking cutter and end up cutting the template plastic
ReplyDeleteWOW Sharon... they all look soooo fantastic... I can't pick a favourite!
ReplyDeleteWell done... xox
This is going to be amazing Sharon
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Sharon, do you ever sleep?
ReplyDeleteSmitten looks very nice in Bonnie and Camille. I have also been admiring 'La Passacaglia'. It is amazing. Can you hand piece that one, or would it be best EPP?
ReplyDeleteWOW. What progress
ReplyDeleteI was quite enthralled by this post. Last year I EPP'd a whole lot of stars and never decided what to with them. I'm now inspired to make more, de-constructing the diamonds to make more interesting combinations. Thankyou so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful quilt! You always do such lovely work! Don't the templates include seam allowance? Did you cut that off for your paper pieces or just make everything bigger?
ReplyDeleteTis going to be anther amazing quilt Sharon!
