What a Week

I have prepared 3 Rosettes and ready to sew for my
 "La Passacaglia Quilt"

I've had some more Tula Pink Fabrics arrive.

In an attempt to balance out the Bonnie and Camille Ratio to the Tula Pink Ratio
I went off to my LQS yesterday and picked up these lovelies.

I have cracked open this F8 Bundle. It's all ironed ready to go, into what I am not yet sure.

And I have decided that it is high time I finished off this boy so that I could start the
new pattern by Jodie "T is for Turtle"

but decided that he needed his friend too :o)

Hopefully by the end of the weekend they will both be finished.

But my proudest part of my week goes to both my Boys.
Both applied for jobs within a new store opening soon.
580 people applied, yes I just typed 580!
Both boys made the first cut down to 280 and the group interviews a fortnight ago.
Then both boys were called back for final interviews this week.
70 people being interviewed for 50 jobs.

I am so proud of both of them.
I took them both out for lunch yesterday just to make sure that they know how proud I am.
Regardless of how it ends its a huge achievement to get down to the last 70.
Well done boys.  Fingers crossed for you both. xxx

This Mummy gig can be really hard at times.

Thanks for popping by and until next time, happy stitching.

  2. Lovely fabrics and threads. There is such a lot of work involved with the preparation of pieces for your rosettes. Impressive.

  4. Good luck to the job seekers! Crossing my fingers for them. I love your fabric balance ( and finished epps) for this "La Passacaglia Quilt!" Now I'm going to have to look back through to see more about it; the name is so intriguing!
