Selvage Play

I think I now know what to do with my Selvages

Photo has been borrowed from Amy Friend, HERE
you must go take a look.

If anyone would like to donate some selvages to help me make this one please do :o)
Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated.

My baby is back (aka Sewing machine).
Just in time for some School Holiday sanity.

Also, I have a proud Mummy Moment.

I am so proud of my favorite No 2 Son for chasing after what he wants.
This weekend he is umpiring his first game of Football.
Looks like winter will be busy with both playing and Umpiring.

And finally for today here is my March Photo 365 collage.
I like looking back on these to see what my month held.

Enjoy your day.
hugs Sharon

  1. Isn't it a stunning quilt made from what we usually throw away! I'll perhaps looks at selvedge's in a different way now. Good luck collecting too! :)

  2. I've known for ages what to do with selvedges Sharon - Bin them! LOL.

  3. So nice when your baby comes back from being serviced. Good luck for your boy and his first umpire game.

  4. What a fabulous selvedge quilt. I use a lot of my selvedges but I am happy to send you a handful because I collect them and have some handy. Just email me your address. How nice to have a son you can be proud of. Well done mum. The picture calendar is a great idea. Love your photos for the month.

  7. It is just a fantastic quilt, I love it. I've been collecting selvedges for quite a while, wasn't too sure what I was going to make. I think this is it, but I do have some spares I'm sure. Would be happy to send you some. Email me your address & I'll send them off to you.

  8. Wow, that is a great way to use the selvedges!! Good on your son :-) I like seeing your photo calendar!

  10. What a fun way to use selvedges!! Good luck making one.
And congratulations to your son. A great achievement.

  11. Sharon, instead of throwing my selvedges I am happy to save them for you. I can bring them to the next Mill Rosie day. Kim
