Getting back in the swing of things.

So, I've been home for a few days now from an absolutely amazing weekend away at Friends in Stitches and I am just beginning to feel like I have caught up on sleep.... the washing ..... and those missed cuddles from my babies!  (Don't be telling my 15 year old I just referred to him as a "baby" or I am in big trouble.)

Sunday night, I thought I could relax under a nice hot shower ... wrong :(
Plumber came yesterday and fixed the hot water service ... we are on a roll here at the moment.

Monday was all about testing my "creativity" in a different manner.
Miss Lily had "PJ and Crazy Hair Day" at Ballet.
I think it's crazy, do you?  You cant see the glitter spray in it and believe me it didn't move.
So glade Glenn is on holidays as he got the job of washing this "do" out.

The lady at the Post Office pointed out that her hair matched her La La Lopsie PJ's quite nicely.
Silly me hadn't even made that connection!  Obviously I was still tired.

Then I got to put my feet up whilst Glenn cooked a yummy Roast Pork.

I think I stitched more on this project Monday night than I did Saturday and Sunday.

I got to play with my machine yesterday.  I will share some pics of that with you soon.
Hope you are having a great week,
hugs Sharon

  4. Lily looks gorgeous. I don't know why you got more stitching done! It wouldn't have something to do with all that chatting that went on, would it!

  6. Lily looked gorgeous. It reminds me of my childcare days when I too had to wear my pj's to work and spray my hair with all sorts of colours. Such fun. Looks like a Gail Pan stitchery on the go. Hugs......
