Old Time Delights

I have finished Block 4 for my
Girls Day Out Quilt

I am not going to add the sweets to the jars until the shop is ready to open,
or in other words, after it's quilted.

Had some more happy mail yesterday

and the first block for this one might have also arrived.

"A Day in the Country"

No plans to start it straight away, it is very tempting though :o)

If you are also stitching this one, Sue has set up a blog to help keep the girls
stitching it motivated. It is here if you would like to join in or follow.

Is anyone else stitching this one. If so i would love to know so that I can
come and watch your journey.

Tonight is "Friday Night with Friends" being hosted by
Cheryll over at Gone Stitchin so pop on over and sign up.

I'm not sure what I will be working on yet, what about you?

Hugs, Sharon

  1. That is such a cute block - can't wait until the lolly shop opens. No FNwF for me tonight as we are going to a play with friends but I will be thinking of you all.

  11. I adore your block Sharon - looks so neat. I'm still chugging at Block one and yet to do a post on our GDO blog! I will get there. I really like that new Janelle Wind pattern. I may have to make a little mothers day purchase myself (although my FQ bundle of happy go lucky is for mothers day - hehehe). Have a great weekend.
