Two Finishes!

12 Days of Christmas
Pattern by Annie Downs from her book
"A Christmas Story"

It feels like it has taken me forever to get the hand stitching
on this one finished but once I did (late yesterday afternoon)
I was on a roll and am now pleased to have it all finished.

It is a hard one to photograph at nearly a meter in length.

I also have another finish.
I have finished my Table Runner for the
Christmas Table Runner Swap
over on Flickr.

It is safe to show as it is a secret Swap and I am fairly certain that my partner
doesn't come over for a visit :o)
All I need to do now is make a Christmas Decoration to send with it.

I decided to add a border and then make this border also the binding by folding it over etc.
It's the first time I have done this and I love the clean/modern look it
adds without a traditional binding..
Hope my partner likes it.

OK. I think this is a great way to start the week with two finishes.
Off now to tidy the mess I have created in my Sewing room :o)

Have a great day,
hugs, Sharon

  12. Heavens delight! I didn't realise 12 days was so long. It looks much smaller in the book! ;o) Well done you. You stitched it beautifully and definately deserve the gold medal for Stick-at-it-ness. Your table runner is fab. The border suits it perfectly. Love the modern look.
