Urban Stitches 2012

What an amazing weekend. 
I have never been to a stitching day / event before
so I was not sure what to expect and all I can say now is, 
When can I sign up for next year? :o)


How much fun are the goodie bags.
Such a buzz to get to work on a project designed especially for the event by
the ever so talented designers Leanne, Melly and Rosalie.

and my project and progress for the day?

Not to bad considering the wonderful company and lovely food :o)

I will be back tomorrow to share some more photo's with you.
I am off now to grab a coffee and try to catch up on some blogs.
Last time I looked there were over 200 posts to read!

    Oh they are all fabulous patterns! friend of mine was there & she sent me pics of them on Saturday. i am so in love with the Melly bag, it's already on my Want List... so glad to rad that you had a grand time, i would love to go to something like that.

    Looks like a wonderful time! The others enjoyed it too by the sounds of it. It's always nice at "things" like this~ meeting friends and sewing. :)

    Sharon it was great to catch up with you on the weekend and put a face to your blog!! The stitching is addictive .... we were seen stitching in the airport lounge, on the plane, in the taxi ..... should be finished soon .... haha!! Happy stitching on your lovely projects!!
