Bliss, Ruby and now Vintage Modern

Yes i have a fabric Crush!

Just had to share this with you.
Anyone who follows my Blog knows that I have a thing for Bonnie and Camille's ranges of fabrics.

Photo from Camille's Site

Now I ask you ...... is this quilt above the next Swoon?
Maybe, maybe not,
but maybe this one below is ....

What I do know is ... I need to get both patterns :o)

(The Patterns are here if you are interested)

On a Whim is FQ friendly which is great as the FQ Bundle of Vintage Modern is on my wish list.

Hopscotch uses a Jelly roll and a little yardage so I am going to dig out my Bliss Jelly Roll and add a little bit of Ruby (for the blue points and binding) and a little Bit of Vintage Modern (for the neutral).

One of my resolutions for this year was to use the pretty fabric/fabric stash, not store it!

I have knocked the Swoon Quilt off my to-do list (still a WIP though)
and added another two. Guess that is how a quilters to-do list goes ... well mine seems to.

I'm off now to feed the troops, grab a glass of wine, settle in front of the TV with my Vignette Blocks, switch on the Tennis and get stuck into my FNSI.

Enjoy your Friday night, Sharon

  1. Those are also my favourite of Camille's new patterns - I'll definitely be getting them once I've finished Swooning.

  3. You and I must have similar fabric taste...first the SKoW SAL (love Fig Tree) and the Bonnie and Camille fabrics! I used up all my Bliss in a quilt from Camilles book, but my Ruby jelly roll is still sitting here :) I signed up for a BOM over at The Fat Quarter Shop which starts in July (?) using Vintage Modern...CAN NOT wait for that!
I think you definitely need both patterns :)
