When Shopping does not go to plan

Christmas Shopping can be so hard sometimes.

Do you have anyone on your Christmas list that has everything and no matter how hard you try you just can not find that perfect gift?

I do!

We all went out for some retail therapy at the weekend and to cross a few people off the Christmas shopping list. We did succeed on some fronts but not on all. 

We stopped for a coffee on the way home.... my mind was racing trying to find an idea.

When we got home I decided to go to the Moda Bakeshop for some inspiration. I am not used to making things for other people so if I was to do this I needed to do it now so if I'm not happy with it I still have time to hit the shops ...... before the bigger crowds that were out on the weekend.

So lets take this charm pack

and cut it up like this

and with the help this pattern and my Go Baby! I now have this

I like it :o)

I have quilted it in a Daisy like pattern.

Looks perfect on my Hutch

I think I like how it turned out and now I am going to wrap it and place it under the tree.

Just as well I have another charm pack as I might need one of these for me too!

That's another name I can cross off that list :o)
