Green Tea and Sweet Beans

Green Tea and Sweet Beans
pattern by Jen Kingwell

This pattern has been on my to do list for a while and with my self imposed
fabric diet at the moment and the fact that my machine is a little sick and on a
little vacation at the Doctor I thought it would be a good chance to get stuck into in and
work it from my stash.  In my stash I have a largish pile of 5" squares of DS Fabrics
that I would use "one day". Well I've decided that now is the time and this is the project for them.

I've also decided that my stash of text prints is fair game for this project.

This is what I've done so far.

The one above needs leaves and most of the below is prepared and ready to be stitched.

I am finding that the more needle turn I do the more I am beginning to like it!

Thanks for popping by,
hugs Sharon

  8. That is a challenging project to start and a gorgeous one at that! You have done a lot of blocks already. You must stitch all night long trying to juggle a family and stitching. Well done girl!

  13. Your fabrics look great together. It will be a very beautiful quilt. I like needle turn appliqué, but I just find I haven't got the time to devote to it so I avoid patterns that use it.
