Saturday saw another gathering of the girls at Millrose in Ballan.
It also saw me delivering Barbs new

Barb and I are having a little one on one swap.
It's not due for a while but I wanted to take advantage of a chance to surprise Barb and deliver her new bag early. I also knew that Barb is going on a little Holiday soon so thought that she might like her bag before then. Barb LOVES red and white and after a little investigating I found out that she likes the new range of fabrics by Moda called "Midwinter Reds". I couldn't decide on what prints to use so ran with the idea of playing with the Moda pre-cut Hexagons (a first for me).
Can you see what's on the pocket (below)?
They are little sewing people made with buttons etc.
I thought they were cute so I decided to use them for the lining of the outside pockets as well
as the inside pocket.
This is my second Weekender Bag and this time I used a firm Bag Interfacing (my first one was just quilted panels). I also got a wooden bottom cut to size and added feet on the bottom.
