Blocks for Blake

Wow ...... 12 days ago I posted a little request HERE for some help to make Blake a quilt.
So far I have received over 120 Blocks!
Wow I had no idea that the response would be so big and there still more blocks to come.
Thank you does just not seem enough, you all rock :o)

Tonight I have started to assemble Blake's Quilt.

I have decided to trim the blocks back a little and sash in a Slate Grey and square up at 6.5"
Here are the first 9.

I am loving how it is looking and hope you do to.

It is still not too late to send in some blocks if you wish.
Just leave me a comment and I will send you my address.
Details for the size of the block can be found HERE.
Any excess blocks will be made into another quilt and donated to another sick child or charity.

Huge thank you to Everyone that I have received block from so far.
All your blocks are perfect.

Hugs, Sharon

  2. Great that you've had such a great response! I did volunteer to make a few if need be, but since you've had so many and I have so little time while we're preparing to move internationally, I hope it's OK if I renege on this one? I'm sure it will be fabulous, looking forward to seeing the finished product.
