Glacier Star
Foundation Pieced
I did it!
My Glacier Star is a finished Quilt Top.
I was counting how many pieces were in this but lost count at 1628.
You will have to excuse the photos as being all foundation pieced it still has some (well maybe more than just "some") papers still on the back. They will be for another day :o)
I LOVE all the points in this quilt.
I have also enjoyed looking back through some of the photos taken whilst making this one.
From my vision and the Fabric selection
Learning that curves are achievable but still not loving the process of making Flying Geese.
This quilt is my first play with Batiks and will not be my last.
I have something BIG in the planning, more on that soon :o)
For now this will sit and wait to have the remaining papers removed and then be sent off to be professionally quilted. Then I think it is destined for a wall.
Hugs Sharon
