Fold, Press, Pin, Sew and REPEAT

That was my Saturday :)


and now all of these above are finished and if I can count I should have enough for this quilt.

I've also finished the 7th Stitchery.


 Do you see the scraps in the background of this picture below?


I started playing with the 1.5" squares yesterday afternoon.
Not for the feint of heart. More seams means more room for error, add in an iron and more room for distortion and "stretching" = less chance of fitting as many as required in the allocated length.

I's off to see "Monsters University" with the Kids.
It will be Lily's first movie at a Cinema ..... wish me luck!

  1. lots of lovely hexagons.... and littlet squares is a lot of fiddling around isn't it... but worth it in the end...

  2. That is certainly a big pile of hexagons. Well done Sharon. Enjoy the movie. I remember when we took Nelson to his first movie (Finding Nemo). All he kept saying was "big tv"! We were child free last night so we went to see The Lone Ranger (just love Johnny Depp). I really enjoyed it. Nice to see an adult movie! LOL!

  6. You are amazing! I don't know how you get as much done as you do with 4 kids and I only have 3 and I don't get anywhere near half as much done as you do. What is your secret woman???? You know I will keep pestering until you fess all, lol.
