Glacier Star progress

After putting my birthday girl to bed I had the urge to sew.
Sitting on my cutting table were my New York Beauty blocks
I was working on Saturday before the "blade incident".

I am pleased to say that my finger is still attached
and my New York Beauty blocks are finished, all 8.

I have not played with Batiks before and for me,the jury is still out.
Oh, and my finger is sill sore and numb but it was good to do
A little sewing. Maybe Miss Mojo is starting to make an appearance again.

Happy stitching,
Sharon

  4. It's looking good! I'm doing a Judy Niemeyer project right now too, and I'm finding it very satisfying. No batiks, though, I've substituted a cotton print. It will be interesting to see how it all progresses!

  14. It is looking good - I love how the background fabric has splashes of yellow in it, it kind of reminds me of a glacier, all cold and shiny!
