How Cheeky!

I was going to do a post yesterday
but it became apparent rather quickly that someone had bet me to it!

I would like to thank everyone who left me a birthday wish
and let you all know that Glenn has survived his first blog post! lol

I am choosing to believe that 40 is the new 30 :o)

Yesterday also proved to be a great day on the house hunting front.
We put in an application for a home at 10am and got the call by 12noon that
it was ours ...yay ... the stress of finding a house is over
now to pack and sell some furniture.

We are downsizing size wise but upgrading, as in a newer home.
I will no longer have my own sewing space but am
going to lay claim to the end of one of the living areas.
Now to get thinking of how I can have it set up, storage etc.

Before I go.
Recently I saw this

and being I have the patten I thought that I might join it.
I have taken so long to decide on fabrics but whilst I was in my
LQS earlier this week I spotted a FQ Bundle of
Cherry Christmas by Annela Hoey and then I remembered this

066

Most of my other fabrics are all packed up for the move and these are sitting here, tempting me to start.
The Quilt Along starts on the 6th August but I think I will leave this until we have moved and settled

Have a great day.
Lily and I are off to find some more boxes :o)

  1. Lovely fabrics you have there, its a challenge having no sewing room, my son recently moved back into his room which i was using, now my stuff is crammed into plastic boxes and shoved into the wardrobe and nicely decorating the living area! Good luck with the move :)
