Two ... for me this time

Last weekend I made this  sewing bag
for someone who had just received her first sewing machine for her birthday.
I loved the way it turned out and declared to make some for myself.

Well guess what, I did and I LOVE these too.

I have made these two this afternoon from the tutorial found over here.

I love the mix of the DS fabrics and the solids.

I think my sewing Mo-jo has found me again :o)
I had better get back to that Bottled Rainbow Block before it disappears again
or Miss Lily decides it's time to sit on my lap.

  1. Wow! What a great item to go with a new sewing machine, sharon. Happy colours. thanks for the link to the tutorial.

  2. Those are lovely bags... thanks to you I also used this pattern but I have made it a bit bigger.... I love the top which closes... what do you use for the wadding? looks good and firm

  3. Gorgeous fabrics....great choice for the cute bags!

  4. Good to see your MoJo back:) And I should say SNAP! - I just finished a runner for the patio table with some of the orange/gray fabric.

  5. Love the bags Sharon,I like how they close so Stuff doesn't fall out.

  7. I love how you are so busy
Now it is winter, we are home from holiday and kids are back at school and kindy maybe I'll find more time to finish my PHD (projects half done)

  8. Wow you are a busy lady these are beautiful! Again I will borrow photos if you don't mind and blog the monthly makes later this week. I can hardly keep up you are all so industrious, creative and clever! x
