A monthly swap of a Doll quilt anyone?
There is a theme nominated every month but you don't have to go with it.
The first round was this month and the theme was
3 Colours
For a while now I have been wanting to make a Circle quilt
so I took this opportunity to do so for my partner
Vivian (no blog). So here is the Mini Quilt aka Doll Quilt that I sent to Vivian in the US :o)
There is Hand quilting around all the circles.
This is the amazing mini that I rec'd yesterday with a Savy Charm pack. I am very spoilt.
perfect colours for me. It now has pride of place on my table for all to see.
Such beautiful colours that I had to take it outside amongst the leaves, and in the tree :o)
The Quilting is Perfect |
Vivian, a huge thank you, I LOVE IT. You are one very talented lady.
I now have my partner for May so I need to put my thinking cap on.
Theme, if I choose to use it is "May Flowers".

ReplyDeleteLovely doll quilts! You are such a clever little chicken! I don't think I could commit to a swap - I think I would let everybody down. I have good intentions and then... nothing!
ReplyDeleteHaving said that I have just completed 2 Sleepy Time doll quilts for my girls (the same but different!) and I loved making them.Still thinking about that blog -thankyou for your lovely message!
Keep on sewing, Therese xx
Both such lovely little quilts. A great way of trying out something new without committing to a huge quilt.
