Inspired for a new start - Scrap Play

Anyone who has been following my blog for a little while will know that I save

and love to use up my scraps. Especially to make scrappy / rainbow quilts.  

I have been looking around for inspiration for a new scrap quilt for a while but since finishing 

my scrap boxes (made from scraps of course) I have been really looking 

but nothing has really caught my eye / inspired me.

Then last Monday this arrived

It is all the inspiration that I need ;o)

My plan - 100% scraps

The pages within the book will be my colour "guide" for that block

and I have promised myself that I will not over think any of the blocks.

There are 100 blocks and I am hoping that I can commit to one block a day.

So far so good, here are my first weeks blocks.

Some people may remember that I started a Dear Jane Quilt.

I've "retired it". I just do not have the dedication for such a 

quilt at this time. It is sitting here, all 5 blocks, neatly tucked away

ready to come out again ......... one day!
