"Lovely Little Patchwork"
I recently had the pleasure of receiving an advanced copy of the new book "Lovely Little Patchwork" by Kerry Horsley of Lovely Little Handmades.
Kerry was one of the first people that I found and followed before I started my own blogging and sewing journey so it's such an honour to now have her book. It has "18 projects to Sew you thought he seasons" and each is a delightful as the next. Congratulations Kerri.
Around the same time I received some advance yardage of "Backyard Roses" by Nadra Ridgeway of Ellis and Higgs for Riley Blake Designs
I just knew that they wold be perfect teamed with some Japanese Yarndyed Chambray from Ministry of Fabric (Great online store and well worth checking out and located here in Australia)
From my look through Kerri's new book I just knew that I just had to make the
"Oh Deer Wall Hanging"
Cute mushrooms and Deer, how could I not :)
Such a fun project to make. I really enjoy this one.
I even quilted this one myself on my new machine.
Just a basic loop but I do love the texture.
Until next time,
"Create what you love"
