It all started with a little Show and Tell ........
Nicky, the owner of my Local Quilt Shop, Honeysuckle Patchwork showed off her new
project and I instantly fell in love and just knew I had to make it too.
I also sent a picture to a friend and she too fell in love. (Always happy to enable a friend).
Originally I was going to use the same fabrics as Nicky but then decided that I wanted to add a more modern / me feel to this Quilt.
This is what I had out to play with and already I've gone stash diving!
I think this will be a fun project. Just don't expect me to finish it any time soon.
After "party prep" yesterday I had a play with the center block.
(I think the child in the background was a little worn out after a tough game of football
and blowing up some balloons)
Here is some of the party prep.
I just love the look of mini milk bottles and the paper straws.
hugs Sharon
That is a lovely project. I really like Nicky's pieced background, your low volume fabrics will be perfect for it. I just love your selection.
