so I'm not sure how much sewing will be done as for some reason
the bigger these kids are getting the harder I am finding it to find the time to sew.
No stress though as I do love spending time with my kids :o)
We are planning to make the most of the weather before it changes.
We all love daylight savings so that will be sadly missed here.
Over the weekend I have managed to play with a couple of projects.
First one was my
Bali Wedding Star
and then some more time was spent with my
Lucy Boston blocks.
I am about to start adding the final border to my fourth block.
Hoping you have a great start to your week.
hugs Sharon
Have fun with the kids home....gorgeous sewing....
ReplyDeleteenjoy the holidays with you lovely children Shaz we too like daylight savings.xx
ReplyDeleteSharon enjoy the holidays the kids grow so quickly. Those Lucy Boston blocks are looking stunning.
ReplyDeleteI have found the same thing with my kids as they get bigger. You will need lots of hand work! Enjoy the holidays, we have another week of school yet.
ReplyDeleteYay for holidays. We have one more week of school. Enjoy the stress free mornings.
ReplyDeleteChain piecing DWR portion of the Bali Wedding Star? What a quick and easy way to put together those arcs. I'm off to find a tutorial!
ReplyDeleteHow clever to chain piece your paper piecing Sharon!!! I've not gotten up the nerve to even open my two patterns yet (LOL!) - I'm thinking I should start with some simple designs and work my way up before I attempt it ... plus, that will give me time to build up my selection of fabrics and make sure they all works together :) ... Enjoy your school holidays!! We've just got the one week - though our mid-year break is 4 weeks long :)
ReplyDeleteI never know when school holidays are approaching these days as my children are all adults. I do know, however, that time passes so very quickly . Enjoy the holidays with your children and then there will be time to sew later. Loving the Lucy Boston.
ReplyDeletewell have fun in the school hols - we are already missing daylight savings although the little ones are enjoying looking for the 'bats' that fly past at an earlier time now. Look forward to seeing more progress on these quilts.
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the best no matter what the holidays bring.
