New Quilt - Red Letter Day

This quilt has come about very quickly.
Some time last week I made this pull of fabric


Then on Sunday I made my first block.


and then walked away.
Monday I went back and made a few more, posting them to Instagram as I went.


By the time I went to bed last night I had a quilt top :o)
An iron this morning and a quick photo shoot.



I LOVE how this has turned out.  I changed some of the fabrics as I went and am so pleased with the result.
So much so that today I am working on the backing and hope to send it off to the quilters very soon.

Each block is 22.5" square which makes the quilt about 66" square.

At last a start and almost a finish in the one post!
