Not a lot of sewing happening here at the moment but here is a quick round
up of what has been happening.
Added a little Christmas "bling" to my header.
I eventually took my Vintage Spools quilt down. Normally I hang my quit tops in the WIR.
I find it helps me keep motivated to quilt them or get them quilted.
Doesn't seem to be working at the moment though!
Maybe 2014 will also be the year to get them ALL finished.
I've also realised that I've not shared these yet.
They are the new "Ironing Board Organiser" Pattern by Bonnie over at Cotton Way.
The pattern is available HERE if your interested.
They are a great gift idea. I'm thinking gifts for the school Fete next year.
Not like me to be so organised!
Do you remember this?
I have managed to get just over half way around the border so far.
The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery Patterns can be viewed HERE.
Tomorrow morning I am heading off bright and early to attend a "Christmas Themed"
Stitching day with Leanne Beasley and Gail Pan.
There are lots of treats in store, not to mention the full Christmas lunch with all the trimmings.
Nothing like a bit of indulgent sewing before the silly season really does hit.
It is going to be a great day and of course I get to catch up with some great sewing friends.
Whatever you do this weekend I hope it's something you love.
hugs Sharon

ReplyDeleteWhat is an Ironing Board Organiser Sharon? Love your new header!
ReplyDeletedon't feel too bad about not having all those quilted...I still have six to quilt myself and I am sure they will not get quilted until 2014 as well. I have one on the machine now or it would be seven that needs quilting.:)
ReplyDeleteSee you in a couple of hours Sharon, looking forward to catching up with you all :) Barb.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you girls will have a great time..
