Great Granny Along

Great Granny Along

It has been a while since I have worked on this one.
I had actually planned to finish it before we moved, some 9 weeks ago now.

I have a pile of WIP's on my sewing table that I would love to get finished
so that I can start the new year with some new projects :)
so my aim is to get them over the line, one by one.

So with that said, here are blocks 15 and 16

I then found a layout that I was happy with,

Added some sashing strips and raided my scrap boxes for some more 2.5" squares

added a border and by about 9pm last night

I had one completed quilt top.

Fabric is "Marmalade" by Bonnie and Camille (1 Jelly Roll)
and it is approx 58" square.

It is now safely hanging in the walk in robe awaiting its turn to be quilted
.... next year  :)

Do you have a pile of projects that you would like to finish before the end of the year?

hugs, Sharon

  6. Great job! It is nice to have things 'finished' by the end of the year! As long as there aren't too many!

  9. Lovely top Sharon. I always have heaps of projects on the go because I'm scared I might finish everything and have nothing to do. Crazy.
